Bird-In-Hand Family Restaurant and Smorgasbord is a local landmark that serves authentic Pennsylvania Dutch food and many other types of dishes. Meals are prepared using fresh, locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. All-you-can-eat smorgasbords are available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and they include a variety of entrees, fresh vegetables, and desserts. Soup, salad, and dessert bars are included with smorgasbords. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus are also available for guests who prefer smaller meals.

Children 12 and under are welcome to visit the Noah's Ark Kids' Buffet. Built by a local craftsman, the buffet features several kid-friendly options, such as chicken fingers, grilled cheese sandwiches, and a variety of desserts. For children with smaller appetites, a kids' menu is available.

In addition to dining, Bird-In-Hand has on-site lodging and an on-site stage. Performers present live musicals on a regular basis, and showtimes are available throughout the week. Lodging options include a campground, a family resort, a motel surrounded by farmland, and an upscale country inn. Lititz Family Cupboard Restaurant & Buffet

Lititz Family Cupboard Restaurant & Buffet serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with an all-you-can-eat buffet option for each meal. For breakfast, enjoy items such as omelets, eggs Benedict, French toast, and pancakes. For lunch and dinner, you'll find a vast selection of options like salads, sandwiches, hamburgers, and quesadillas. Monthly meal features include specialty items such as banana nut French toast, cranberry pecan scones, and cherry almond baked oatmeal. If you'd prefer a smaller meal, tell your server you'd like to order directly from the menu.

Lititz is open Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., and kids eat free on Tuesdays from 4p.m. to 8 p.m. Dine-in and takeout are both available, although the takeout menu doesn't include buffet items. Lititz is located at 12 West Newport St., 1 mile north of historic downtown Lititz.

Hershey Farm Restaurant

Hershey Farm Restaurant is a Pennsylvania Dutch restaurant that serves traditional Pennsylvania Dutch dishes as well as more modern fare. The breakfast smorgasbord features items such as French toast, pancakes, and made-to-order omelets. For lunch and dinner, the Grand Smorgasbord option includes unlimited trips to the soup, salad, bread, and potato bar, the hot food bar, and the dessert bar. It also includes hand-cut meats, steamed shrimp, and prime rib. Plenty of gluten-free options are on the menu as well. Check the website for Grand Smorgasbord coupons, which are posted periodically.

Hershey Farm Restaurant is part of the Hershey Farm complex, which sits on 23 acres and includes The Inn at Hershey Farm, 4,500 square feet of shopping space, and a bakery. Guests of the Inn at Hershey Farm receive a complimentary breakfast smorgasbord with each stay. Hershey Farm Restaurant is located at 240 Hartman Bridge Road. Its hours vary throughout the week, and the restaurant sometimes closes during the winter, so check the website when making your plans.

Miller's Smorgasboard

Miller's Smorgasboard features an all-you-can-eat buffet filled with a variety of local favorites. The traditional smorgasbord buffet provides an appetizer station, soup and salad bar, hot entrees, a carving station, homemade desserts, and fresh fruit. It includes an array of items such as steamed shrimp, seafood bisque, chicken and waffles, baked ham, and chocolate pecan pie. If you prefer a lighter meal, choose the soup and salad bar option where you'll find items such as fruit salad, vegetable soup, and an assortment of fresh bread.

Miller's Smorgasbord is located at 2811 Lincoln Highway in East Ronks near the Tanger Outlets. Walk-ins are welcome, but if you'd like to reserve a table, call 1-800-669-3568. Miller's is open Wednesday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. However, hours are subject to change, so check the website when planning your visit.

Shady Maple Smorgasbord

Shady Maple Smorgasbord has three restaurants in East Earl, about 20 miles from Lancaster. Guests dine in a cafeteria-style space featuring an all-you-can-eat, buffet-style smorgasbord. Shady Maple serves a variety of Pennsylvania Dutch fare as well as plenty of modern dishes. The breakfast buffet includes sausage, scrambled eggs, French toast, oatmeal, baked goods, and more. For lunch and dinner, the buffet houses items such as carved honey ham, corn fritters, and an assortment of soup, salad, and dessert items. Daily dinner specials include choices like prime rib, seafood, and steak.

In addition to its restaurants, Shady Maple features a farmers market, bakery, and gift shop. This farmers market encompasses over 130,000 square feet and stocks an assortment of fresh, locally sourced food. The bakery, located inside the farmers market, has over 300 made-from-scratch items available for purchase. The farmers market is located at 1324 Main St. in East Earl. Shady Maple Gift Shop houses an assortment of items, such as Amish handicrafts, home decor, toys, souvenirs, and more. It's located on the lower level of the Shady Maple Smorgasbord at 129 Toddy Dr.

In addition to the Toddy Drive and Main Street locations, Shady Maple also has a smorgasbord restaurant at 160 Ewell Rd. All three restaurants are open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
